Who we are and when these terms apply
This site and the service are run by TBD: registered company name (d.o.o. / obrt) (trading as ZG3D Studio), TBD: street address of the registered office, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, OIB TBD: OIB (personal identification number of the company), e-mail hello@zg3dstudio.com.
These terms apply to every order placed through the site or by e-mail, whether you buy as a consumer (for purposes outside your trade or profession) or as a business. Where a rule applies only to one of them, we say so. Nothing here limits the rights consumers have under mandatory law.
Quotes and prices
The instant quote is calculated automatically from the geometry of your file and the options you choose. It is an accurate estimate and an invitation to order, not yet a binding offer: the binding price is the one we confirm after checking your file (see below).
All prices are in euros and include VAT at the applicable rate. Shipping is shown separately before you send the order. The minimum price per part is €4.50. Quantity discounts apply automatically as shown in the quote.
If a price is obviously wrong because of a technical error (for example, a part priced at a fraction of its real cost), we'll tell you and you can accept the correct price or cancel at no cost.
How the contract is formed
- You send the order through the site. You'll receive an e-mail confirming we've received it. That e-mail is not yet an acceptance and nothing is charged.
- We check your files. A person reviews every file for printability, size, walls and details, usually within one working day. If something needs to change, we explain it and, if the price changes, send you the new one.
- We send you a secure payment link with the final price and the order details. This is our offer, valid for TBD: e.g. 7 days.
- You pay. The contract is concluded when the payment is completed, and we start production. You receive the invoice by e-mail.
The contract can be concluded in English, Croatian or Spanish. We send you the order details and these terms by e-mail and keep a copy of the order; you can ask us for it at any time.
We may decline an order before payment, for example if a file cannot be printed to an acceptable standard or the item falls under «What we don't print». In that case nothing is charged.
Production, tolerances and appearance
Most orders are printed and dispatched within 1-3 working days after payment. Large series and long prints may take longer; we tell you the expected date in the file check. Delivery is described in the shipping policy.
- Tolerances: typically ±0.2 mm on FDM parts and about ±0.1 mm in resin, unless we agree otherwise in writing for a specific part.
- Appearance: fine layer lines are normal for FDM printing, and supports can leave small marks on the faces they touch. Colours on screen can differ slightly from the real filament.
- Orientation and settings: we choose the print orientation and settings that give the best result for the part, unless you specify them and we confirm them.
- Split parts: parts larger than the build volume are printed in sections and joined, as shown in the quote.
Payment
You pay through the secure link we send, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer. Card payments are processed by TBD: payment provider; we never see your full card details. Production starts when the payment is received. Refunds are made to the original payment method.
Business customers with recurring orders may agree payment on invoice with a due date; that agreement must be in writing.
Your files and intellectual property
You remain the owner of your files and designs. You give us the right to use them only to quote, check, print and deliver your order (and to do any modelling you ordered). We keep them confidential and delete them as described in the privacy policy.
By sending a file you confirm that you have the right to have it printed: that it is your own design, is licensed for this use, or is free of rights. You are responsible for any infringement of third-party rights (copyright, design, trademark, patent). A business customer will compensate us for claims made against us because of a file it supplied.
When we model a part for you, you receive the source files on payment and may use, modify and print them freely; we won't reuse them for anyone else. Unless agreed otherwise, we may show the work in our portfolio only with your permission.
What we don't print
We refuse files and orders for, among other things:
- weapons, weapon parts or accessories, including any component of a firearm, suppressors and replica firearms that could be mistaken for real ones;
- items that infringe someone else's intellectual property, such as copies of protected brands, logos or characters without a licence;
- items whose possession or use is illegal, or that are meant to help break the law (for example lock-picking tools or counterfeit keys for property that isn't yours);
- content that promotes hatred, violence or discrimination;
- parts presented as certified for medical, food-contact, automotive, aerospace or other safety-critical uses. We don't certify parts for these uses.
If we discover after payment that an order falls under this section, we cancel it and refund it in full.
Withdrawal, guarantee and complaints
Parts made from your own files or to your specifications are custom-made, so the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to them (Art. 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU and the Croatian Consumer Protection Act). Ready-made objects from our catalogue can be returned within 14 days. Our reprint guarantee and your legal guarantee rights are explained in returns and guarantee.
Send any complaint to hello@zg3dstudio.com. We answer written complaints within 15 days of receiving them, as required by the Croatian Consumer Protection Act.
Liability
We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for death or personal injury, and as required by mandatory consumer law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
You are responsible for choosing a design and material suitable for how the part will be used. We gladly advise, but unless we have confirmed in writing that a part meets a specific technical requirement, we are not liable for the suitability of your design for a particular purpose.
For business customers, our liability for slight negligence is limited to the value of the order concerned and excludes indirect damage such as lost profit, production downtime or lost data.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our control (for example power cuts, courier strikes, natural disasters). We'll tell you without delay and you may cancel any unaffected part of the order.
Governing law and disputes
These terms and every contract with us are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country.
We'd always rather solve a problem directly: write to us first. Consumers may also turn to an alternative dispute resolution body; in Croatia, for example, the Mediation Centre of the Croatian Chamber of Economy. TBD: lawyer to confirm the ADR body the studio will name
The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) closed on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228; complaints can no longer be filed there. TBD: lawyer to confirm whether to keep this reference
For disputes with business customers, the competent court in Zagreb has jurisdiction. Consumers can bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence or in Croatia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you sent it, which we also e-mail to you.
